i have a 1998 ford windstar the transmission stop working

i have a 2000 and it stopped on us on the way home from my grandmas would go in any gear but it wasnt the transmission it had something to do with the convertor i think costs us a little over 700 bucks

That's it, spend good money to fix the bug, otherwise it's a headache, and 98 is old car anyway.

Yeah I had a windstar and the transmission gave up on me in a parking lot after doing grocery. It cost me two thousand dollars to have it fixed.
