I wanted to be a school teacher. I wasn't. But most of all I wanted to be a Mother. I was. My daughter is a school teacher. She loves it. Unfortunately she has no children. Sad

Kids don't have to be great when they grow up but it's good if they grow up to be happy, healthy human beings who love one another and themselves. We all need to have money and so we need to work. The young really do need to learn fairly early some standards of behaviour some realistic goals and values and to cultivate the work ethic. Nowadays if you don't get to be what you want you may have another chance later. Don't ever give up on your dreams.

Katy, I agree with you 100% Never considered retraining as a teacher now? It was featured in a local paper of mine that a woman at the aged of 44 made the switch, she's 49n now and actually working in schools. She got the best newcommer award. I feel it's great.

I didn't have any idea or really think of it. I was always fond of a police officer, although I've not yet gone over into that line of work. I won't ever say never.
