I don't use bluetooth handphone. Even infrared enabled mobile phone. Because, It has more expensive price. Now, I only use Nokia 3120. No camera, no bluetooth, no infrared. The impotant feature for me is GPRS and MMS.

My cellphone is bluetooth enabled but I do not have the equipment to use it nor do I have any interest in doing so. I just don't think that it is important for me to be THAT connected to my cellphone. If someone is that interested in getting in touch with me, they can leave me a message and I will get it when I have the time.

I do have bluetooth in my cell phone, I got bluetooth in my laptop as well. Basic idea of bluetooth is too connect two bluetooth enabled device and allow them to communicate. Communication may be any file transfer, gaming etc. SO you can transfer any file (Image, vedio, SMS, contact profiles etc) from one cell phone to another or from cell phone to any bluetooth enabled laptop. Both communicating devices must be placed around 30-100 meters apart. Advantage includes you are wire free, you can communicate even being in two different rooms unlike IR which requires two communicating devices to be placed face to face. Disadvantage involves is, data transferred between two devices can not be traced, you can spy on someone. I hope this would give you bigger picture of bluetooth. If need more information, feel free to ask. I can explain even more details :) Take care

all of you are talking about the advantages of Bluetooth, but no one has thought that it can also be very dangerous for your mobile phone if it is not used properly. I have heard that in public places if one enables the Bluetooth port then it is an open invitation to mobile viruses
