What are your plans for the holiday? We will do the usual just be with family after our kids up open up their gifts. We do want to start some type of tradition for Christmas eve, and not really sure what we will do just yet though. So tell me your christmas eve and christmas day traditions.. Do you open your gifts on the eve or the morning?

Our plans this year for christmas are to just lounge aroudn the hosue and let the kids enjoy their christmas presents. We will eat dinner at a aunts house and thats it for this year. We do not want the kids to be rushed here and there so we decided to take it easy this year.

that sounds like a great plan. Actually years prior we always went to my sisters inlaws house for Buena Noche, but have decided not to do that anymore, we always get home way to late, the kids cranky and they dont sleep very well on christmas eve. So we are staying in this year

christmas eve is usually a case of going to the pub and then to church for midnight mass, might not be able to do that with kids though. Christmas day we get up and open our stockings, then have a nice big breakfast and open presents about 11am and then its time to make christmas dinner. I'm really looking forward to christmas, can't wait. Merry Christmas!

Well, in my family, we have a tradition concerning Christmas. On Christmas Eve, me and my sister decorate the Christamas tree and the house, while my dad bakes sponge cakes, which are traditional for Romania. then, during Christmas night, we all skeak through the house, putting the presents near the Christmas tree, and then, on Christmas morning, we open the presents :D
