Yesterday here in Italy a doctor switched off the life support system of a terminally ill man (Piergiorgio Welby)that alwais has exhbit his crave to die. He suffered from muscular distrophy and he desired the death. Here in Italy Euthanasia is illegal. Now the doctor risk 10-15 years in jail. Here you find a complete article: http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/europe/12/21/italy.euthanasia.reut/index.html What do you think about?

i think if it is clear that the individual can get no better and he or she wants to die it should be legal for a dr to facilitate this. The fact that this dr could spend 15 years in jaIL is stupid he should be praised for his professional integrety

I think that he had the right to decide when to terminate his life.

if the patient were aware and has made the choice to die what it has made the doctor doprebbe to involve little responsibility

I know this... i think that euthanasia is wrong, because a person who is in this situation, i think that isn't free to decide about him... I think about Piergiorgio Welby that he was strumentalized by many groups for make political propaganda... I know that i've a hard opinion about this, but this is my opinion... I live in Rome and i know many about this case... Best regards
