i see theres 17 people who listen to neil young, come on he is the man. i can't think of another artist who can sing songs such as like a hurricane and cinamon girl and then after the goldrush and harvest. the man is a legend. the young people of today should listen to him and see what a real singer and guitarist can do.

I agree fully. Have you seen the movie he did where his music tells the story?/ I saw it about a year ago on a pay station at a friends house. Also He has a concert that is rentable that is just wonderful. His wife and many special guests are in it with him. I loved it. He has several new songs on it , but he does do quite a few of his all time best. And it is nice to listen to him tell us what is behind some of those songs we have loved all these years. Have you seen either of them?

I will try, I rented the concert (twice) from Hollywood Video. You should be able to call them or even look them up online. But I will try from here in a day or so. Am pretty bogged down right now.

My husband and I love Neil Young. We bought Harvest recently and relived lots of old memories from the 70's. My daughter is 21. She hadn't heard him before but after hearing the album a few times she was hooked too and asked if she could put some of the songs on her ipod. My other favourite artists of that era are Carole King and Cat Stevens.

In my hometown there used to be a coffee house called "The Main Point". It was a legendery place where record companies sent a lot of young musicians to break in their acts. When I was a teenager, a very young Joni Mitchell came to play. She was then known mainly as a songwriter for Tom Rush who used to come to The Point a lot. Anyway, Joni brought a friend from Canada who joined her on stage. Nobody ever heard of him but he was prettty good. His name was Neil Young....Just thought I'd share that since I'm one of those 17 people and also probably one of Neil Young's first fans.
