Do You Wrap the Gifts that go in the Stockings?

I wrap every little item that goes in the stockings. Some of the things I put in it are: gum, candy bars, deodorant, barrettes (for the girls), pencils, pens, lip balm, granola bars, Little Debbie snack cakes, Matchbox Cars, etc. Each little gift is a surprise. I have been doing this since the kids were babies. They are now doing the same.

Yes, I always wrapped everything in the sock. But now we only have our furry cat children, so I just drop it into their socks, as I don't think that they will peek, do you? Hehehe.:)

They enjoy the surprise of unwrapping even the smallest gifts and finding what is inside.

When the kids were little, I allowed them to open their stocking gifts before I came downstairs. I made sure I had time for a little more rest. The individually wrapped fillers gave me at least 15 minutes more rest.

There is always enough small pieces of paper left over from the big stuff. Nothing goes to waste.

The little presents also? No, if it comes in a box, it's already wrapped. Sometimes, a gift needs to be wrapped to hide it's identity. In that situation, I am apt to put a small item in a very big box, to give the illusion of size.

I love to do that too! My kids get a kick out of it. I like to put things in oatmeal boxes, soap boxes, and other "fun" boxes.

We don't wrap the gifts that go in the stockings. We wrap every other gift though. By then I'm tired of wrapping gifts and think its just better for my daugther to just pull out the gifts from her stocking. Although she'd probably love it if her stocking stuffers where wrapped too, lol.

I usually don't wrap the gifts for the stocking stuffers. But that is a great idea. I just might do that this year. Thanks!

I don't wrap everything. I am putting a DVD in my husbands and I wrapped that. But I don't wrap any of the candy or lip gloss that is going in my daughters. I guess it just depends on what it is.

No, I've never wrapped the gifts that go in the stockings. I don't wrap the gifts that "Santa" brings either. We would leave those gifts out very late on Christmas Eve after kids are gone to bed or put them out Christmas morning before they're up. Our 2 oldest don't have their own families yet, so I'm not sure what they're doing now. The youngest is still at home and in college. I would assume when they have their own families someday they will probably do the same as I do since that's they grew up? :)

My bf and i had this discussion on christmas eve, because he was raised that his mom wrapped everything in the stocking and i was raised where we didn't have that because the stocking was something we could go to in the morning before my parents woke up.

Stockings still have a little room to fill? Our Gift Finder Service helps you unwrap their personality so you can wrap up the perfect gift based on their . No presents say they are from us, they are *all* from Santa and I even wrap the little gifts that go in the stocking. Santa also has very specific paper .

I only wrap the gifts that go under the tree. I don't bother with the ones that go in the stockings.

It all goes back to personal prefrence. If you wrap stocking items, good. If you don't that is ok too. Stocking stuffers are a unique animal. If you have small children, you should, they will have more fun. Adults, don't need the wrap...
