if you are totally ready to leave year 2006 and welcome 2007? have you finished all of your unfinished business with 2006? have you forgiven all your enemy this 2006? has someone forgave you if you committed some mistake to someone? have you actually learn something or nothing from 2006? have you reached some past goals? have you done something good to your fellowmen? have you overcome one fear that you have from the past? and have you totally and wholeheartedly accepted 2006 ? or your just letting go 2006 and let another 2007 to pass by?

Myself I try to do all I can on a day to day basis so that when a new year begins I hope for either a busier or more leisurely year. Still just doing what it takes on a day to day basis does make it better than worrying that I need to hurry to finish before a new beginning which in actuality can be an occurance at any time if you are ready for it.

I didn't totally asked myself about changing years. But I am figuring out if it'll be just the same old crap. I have no idea if I do have an unfinished business in 2006. And still can't answer if I'm ready to forgive those people who gave me pains in the past. But somehow, when I got the chance of talking to them, I am forealz. Did I reached some past goals? I think getting my someone special back from the bad past. I guess, I've done something good for my fellowmen. I dont think so about overcoming fear that I have from the past. Well, I am scared of time running so fast because I haven't accomplished anything yet either completing a mission.

Hey it's time to relax. It is vacation time. Not time to ask yourself the most difficult questions in the universe!

Hi, I like this discussion. I like the idea of putting this year to rest, much better than resolutions. Resolutions are good, but we joke about failing them. We should pause and reflect about what this last year has been. Merry Christmas, and a great and good new year to you.

I will let 2006 go by, not as regrets but thankful for the lessons already learnt. I will try not to repeat mistakes, but be vigilant to bypass them. I have learnt to forgive and forget. Maybe not all have been forgiven but at least an effort is made. I enter 2007 a better person because I choose to change, to forgive, to forget, to aspire. My destiny awaits me.

Great topic. No I am not ready to begin a new year, I don't feel that things have been complete yet. I dont think it will be easy to start over fresh right now since I am on a downward spiral at the moment. It would be easier if I felt like I had some closure to certain situations and just wish I were able to enter a new year with a better starting point. This year flew by though. I did have a major milestone in my life, having my a kid. I will never forget this year for the rest of my life. She is the best thing that could have ever happened to me. I just need to keep on keeping on I guess. But it gets hard when you are going through through rough spots and its one thing after another and it seems like things are never going to get better. Thats usually when I try to remind myself that things could be way worse, there are people who are going through much worse things than I will ever have to face. Here we go though, 2007!?! Can you believe it? I remember New Years 2000, when we all thought something crazy was going to happen, like it was last week and here it is 2007. Wow.

I'd been thinking about it and it gave me a headache.I'm ready to leave all has 2006 has given me. I already forgave those people but I'm wondering if they have forgiven me.I already done so much for my fellowmen.I hadn't yet overcome my fears but i totally accepted all that happened this year.It was a lesson learned but somehow it will haunt me back if someone would bring it up.

In reality i'm not ready to leave 2006, i have a lot of unfinished business from a lot of things from work to my love life. I really wished that i could go back to the past and repair the things that i've done. I always wished that i could do things differently. But now 2007 is coming i'm not sure that this year is better than what i have today. I can only hope that with Gods help that this coming new year would be a better one not just for me but for my whole family.

as much as possible, whatever things that i can do for that year i do it faithfully and whatever things that am not done yet i forwarded it to the next coming year. it really doesnt matter what year it is right now. even if it takes me a lifetime to do it then why not. life is like a circle, it just goes round and round..you can pause for a while, but for as long as you're alive, things would always be just as you made them.

While I didn't ask myself these specific questions, I have thought about it a little. The truth is, I am quite nervous about the coming year. I am also very excited because there are going to be some major changes in my life. I'm starting school again, moving to another country, and starting things over. 2006 was an unproductive year for me, but I also realized many things that I think will make my life better in the future. I'm excited for the coming year!

Great question. 2006 was a tough year for me, but I look upon it with some kind of admiration-- in the way you might look at an enemy or adversary whose got guts and spunk. I wink, back at that year, and I say thank you. Moving forward, I think 2007's gonna' be my year.

To me 2006 was a good year. In fact every year is better than the las one, because i learn from it, and i am continually trying to improve. I hope this trend continues, and 2007 will be better, and I wish all of you a happy Christmass and good luck in the new year.

For me the year of 2006 was a successfull one i have fulfilled almost all the wishes i had and it happened to me only good things. I hope that this next year, 2007 will bring me at least the good things which i have in this year. For me everything went smoothly this year and i hope to better things next year. You know what 2006 is one of the greatest highlight of my life. It is the year that I gave birth to my first born child which taught me a lot of things in life. This 2006 I learned how to be a mother, a wife to my BF, a daughter-in-law, a sister and a daughter to my own parents. Last year 2005 and this year 2006 are actually the years that changed my whole life. Lot of tears where cried, lot of pains and hatred were felt, lot and hugs and kissess, also some loving and cuddling. It was also the year where I learned a lot of things about life, what real life means and how the real world really is. I know that every year I'm trying to be a better person and avoid to commit the same mistake again. I've been through heavens and hell and here on earth is where I wanna be here with my daughter, for her I'll do everything to make our life more meaningful and wonderful. Have a good new year may you see the light that I saw. God Bless. It is in HIM where you'll find yourself and the right way.

First of all, we don't have deadlines. Life isn't like working for the goverment where you have to prepare your year-end reports before, well, the year ends. Life goes on. It's a cycle. Dates are just a bunch of numbers.

i respect your opinion but i think you didnt get the message. what am asking for is that if you have made some refection about 2006 what are the good things happen to you. i guess some of us may ask this to there selves not becouse of work evaluation but a way of reflecting oneself.
