What lengths would you go to, to earn money?

How important is it to you?
People heres ay they wouldnt lie steal or cheat yet I see that everywhere in this forum. So, honestly, what would you or wouldn't you do for money?
I wouldnt intentionally steal, but if I came across a thousand dollars on the street I don't know if I would hand it in or not.
I wouldn't lie- I really cant stand lies, but thats just me.
I wouldnt cheat because I see more gain out of working for something and reaping what I sow, then I do of obtaining something because i have done the wrong thing intentionally. Like mylot for example, I am going to discuss not make statements, I am going to write posts that offer my opinion, not one sentence to make me a cent.
I wouldn't murder anyone, nor hurt them physically in any way.

With all due respect to megs and her opinion, I understand honesty is the best policy. I believe that. But we cannot ignore the fact that there are certain instances where we have to lie in order to earn. I believe the term for that is "white lie".
Call center agents, for example, in their line of work, they don't necessarily have to be honest to their customers. Agents have to pacify them, cajole them, and stuff like that while they cater to their needs and other issues. They do't have to be brutally honest to all their customers or its their a** on the line. Commisions are a big part in their earnings in addition to their basic salary, and the lesser satisfied customers they have, the lesser the money they take home.
Right now it is the only example I can cite but I am sure you guys out there have a lot to add to this. What do you think?

I wouldn't go too far just to earn money. There is a limit to what I can do.

i can do anything to earn money...as long as i m nt harming anybody. my mots interested area wud b area of creativity to earn money :)

Well sometimes a lie can make you big money, for example; Bill Gates told the CEOs of IBM he had a program called DOS. The ture of it was as soon as Bill Gates and his 2 buddy left the IBM meeting they bought the program for around $3000.00 and the man that wrote "DOS" was never even hired by Microsoft.
But I personaly couldn't have done that.

I just found that Tim Paterson the original author of DOS, is in the eighth year of his current stint at Microsoft. But Bill Gates still lied.

I wouldnt lie or cheat just to make money nor step on people.I believe in karma.What you do to other people will eventually come back to you.

There are certain lenghts we would all go to for money, but there is a line I draw, If I don't earn it honestly I don't want it, no lie or cheating to get it, I'm a strong believer in what goes around comes around, so I woundn't do something I don't like to be done to me.

oh i have been through those times that i am wishing that God just let me see a handful of money on my way to home... to no avail. but then, believe me, killing, stealing or doing something not acceptable just to get the money you need is not worth it. the end does not justify the means.... i'd rather borrow from friends than steal.

i dont like cheating and i dont cheat to win some money...i always try to post good response as well as lengthy so that viewers can understand all the answers from mine...sometimes it doesnt require lengthy responde for example response to somethink informative didnot require a lengthy response...simply a thanks and a(+) raings. Am i rite? . So it wouldnt neccessory that ur response must be too lengthy (according to my openion...i dont know what mylot saying!).If mylot is against this ,please inform me about this

well..... there are a lot of ways to earn money.. the guy who is getttin the highest amount of money is not a crook.. take bill gates.. his hard work paid off.. so.. if u want something really big..u need to b honest.. humble and the best when it comes to the inner characters, i think money is incomparable to that

Its one secret about money..money are nothing, they have no meaning if you got them by cheating or in other similar way..I know most of you wouldn agree with me, money its just shows how good you are isnt? so?? what it means? Think in reverse of money..its where the secret is...
megs85 I wouldnt recomend to repeat something, cause nobody dont want stuff, which everybody already has..You know what I mean? As more unique things you will create as more money you will get from them...hmzz..I think I saw this statement in the Donald Trump book..and I strongly agree with this statement..

Yes what you say is very true. Unfortunately most people in mylot are only here for the money and as a result they all post rubbish content. I do wonder myself whether anything can be done about it

I wouldn't cheat, it's just not right and the only one I'm fooling is myself. I love challenges that's why I wouldn't cheat. I wouldn't say I wont steal ever, as there are a lot of temptations in the world and the easiest to divulge in is stealing in all forms. But I have a very high threshold for temptations with regards to stealing. Well, as for lying, I gotta say I do that quite a lot. But I try so hard to control it. I guess I'd lie when I'm really in a fix.
