what are the best way to learn new languange?

i already try to learn german language right now, but it's seem i'm just walking around and there are no progress on it. Can anyone tell me about the best wa to learn new language?

I think to get a disc with the sounds of the words and then having someone from that particular country to try it on.

right an audio can really help a lot in how u say the words correctly. why not try to find a learning partner hmmm try www.mylanguageexchange.com try to find someone who wants to learn ur language and is willing to teach u the language u want to learn. =)

I suggest you to read the book named "Absolutely Donn't Study English" written by a Korean who is a Doctor.I think the method is amazing.I am learning a new language using it.I believe you will get some ideas from the book
