Has anyone ever read the Dark Series by Christine Feehan?

Some refer to it as the Carpathian series. But it is called the Dark series because all the books started with the word Dark.

Yes, I've read all of Christine Feehan's Dark series except for the latest Dark Curse. I admit I'm a fan of her Carpathian world, and I enjoy reading each installment. Despite criticism from other readers that after a while the stories get repetitive and the heroes starts to blur together, I still feel that the books are great reads.
My favorite Carpathians Gregori and the De la Cruz brothers. Such yummy, sexy heroes..LOL..

Hi...OH! MY GOSH!!!!
THE DARK SERIES are AWESOME!!!! That's All I really want to say!! I OWN THEM ALL, and re-read them continually! Christine Feehan is a GREAT author!! I only WISH our own men were that LOVING and HOT!!! at the same time, Domineering but sooooo Protective!!!

LOL..... Gregori is my favorite too!!!!! Has been since the first book I read in the series which was Dark Desire (I first found that book and then found the rest as quick as I could)!!!!
I just finished Dark Curse myself last week, and Now I am so anxious for the next book!!! I cant believe how good the book was I couldnt put it down!!!!

You actually like Gregori???I didn't like his book because of the way he treated Savannah was so horrible!!!Sure he's been waiting a long time but still...

Do you have to read them in order for them to make sense? I couldn't find a lot of info on them... and my library only had one book... which I just checked out - Dark Demon. So, does it matter that I'm reading the second to last book before any others?

I haven't read that book yet. But what I have found when reading, that it doesn't really matter what order because they book always seems to explain things really well in each book. :)

It doesn't really matter which order you read,however some books mention characters from other books...

That is one of my favorite series. I've read all of them except Dark Demon and Dark Celebration. I bought them a few months ago, but have been immersed in Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter series. The two are very similiar actually. As with all her books, Feehan is a master at the paranormal! I can't wait until the next Drake Sisters novel comes out!

Actually, I haven't read the Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon.
I have read a couple of book by her though and thought she was very good.
I will have to look into this series, thanks. :)
I am currently on Dark Legend. I am very anal about wanting to read things in order. LOL :)

I am curious if you have read the Dark Hunter series yet by SK... it is such a great series along with the Dark Series!!
I have all the books in both series and am patiently awaiting the new releases!!! LOL

I have read, and own all the books in the series. They are fantastic! I can't wait for the new one to come out... Dark Possession! I am waiting patiently, but it is killing me!

I just finished Dark Curse last week!!!! I didnt get it until last christmas and life got crazy and I wasnt able to read anything at all for the last couple months and when I finally got a chance to read it was Christine Feehan that I chose to read first!!!!
I love the Carpathians... Dark Series, I dont care what you call the series I just cant wait for the next book to come out!! LOL I love those books!!
I have only read her Lepoard series as well, but I have been getting the Drake Sisters books slowly so when I get them all I can read them in order.

Yes, I have read the Dark series and I love them! I was not so sure that I wanted to read them at first since I had read the Drake and the GhostWalker series first. I was intrigued though and wanted to know what all the hype was in concerns to the Dark series. I am not a huge fan of vampire romances but once I read this series and her take on the vampire, I was hooked. This series is so good, that I have read the whole series and cannot wait for the next one to come out.

I've never heard of this book series. I went to the author's website for as much info as I could get without actually reading the summary (I don't like to know what a book is about before I read it). I was going to read the first chapter of the first book in the series, but I noticed it seemed to be a romance novel, and I know sometimes romance novels can be a little...descriptive about certain acts.
So I went to this website http://likesbooks.com/cgi-bin/searchReviews.pl to see how they rated the book for sensuality and I saw the books are rated too high for my taste. So this is not a book series I will be reading.
Also, even if the book had a lower rating, I don't think I'd enjoy it very much because I don't like contemporary romance, which this seems to be.
