why are beauty and youth so important?

i've seen lots of people these days. especially women. even the old ones are so addicted to processes in making themselves look younger and prettier. they spend so much money investing in money and youth. i don't get the point sometimes.

beauty and youth r not only important for external appearance but they also give self confidence to us....... so women generally spend money for that....its not at all wrong...

Life if more enjoyable when you are young and beautiful. Besides it is our moral obligation to take care of our body. But to be beautiful and young could transcends what is physical and time-bound. You may physically deteriorate but remains young and beatiful in spirit. Those who spend their fortunes in trying to stall the natural process of aging are those who probably not able to grasp the wisdom of life.

the reality in life is that physical youthfulness and beauty is still a major factor to assess a person. well, we can't blame them if they spend their money, they can afford it. at least, they should give a part of their money to institutions or poor people.
