A way to get cheap discounted air fares being an air courier all it requires is to travel light on short notice and being responsible enough to meet an representative in the airport before you start your vacation. An air courier is basically a free lance deliveryman/woman who is hired by a delivery company to escourt cargo by plane. In reality, you are a passenger on a plane whose baggage allowances (or excess) is used for shipping goods or documents quickly. As payment for the company you get a discounted (sometimes free) round trip ticket to a distination.Does anyone know more about this subject? Or have been a air courier? whats the best company to sign up with etc??

This is a great concept. I will find out more info and post what I find. I wonder if they use major airlines and what kind of extra security measures are taken considering you don't know what you are carrying in the packages.

I've never done it. I wonder if it is safe? I mean, do you get to know/see what you are carrying for someone? It could be hazzardous or illegal items.

This seems interesting, it allows you to travel at a reduced price. Thus you can save some bucks. I have never been an air courier but I am also interested in this subject.
