sucks discussion topic ..plz one read discussion details ,no response no problem

most of the people in mylot did't like to talk about any productive ,serious essue , giving knowledge kind of topic.the reason for this may be that they did't want to present there thoughts because they have to explain and it takes time .they just want to increase there post numbers . thats why discussion like "what u drink ?" , "what is time there ? " ,"do u like dogs?", gets more responses . because u have to just write one word .thats suck man . im tired of that kind of discussion .
i think many user even did't read discussion details . they just read discussion subject and give the answer .
i think mylot should take action against this . because if someone intrested in giveing responses like that topic but they did't find due to hindrence of that kinds of sucks topic .
i know may be one or two person gonna response this as soon as it is in top in the topic list after that no one gonna see that because it is for away from the top .
what u think freinds ....???

that is what happened to most of the thread that I opened. When I was very new , I started a topic which angered some members coz they failed to see that I'm guiding them to biz world, instead they took it up to personal level. Then I started to loose interest, so I just opened any topic that strike my mind with the thought to avoid back fired.
What make me sad, is I think hard to come out with something more pro -- so i opened WRITERS' CORNER --- whoosshhh no respond at all. Whereby this topic being a HOt topic in my other netfriends site. Everyone is matured enough to value the importance of writings. One of my poem there managed to inspire a lady to write a book. You see. Take a look at my thread and read my poem there.Hope you like it.

pvinay, thanks for opening up this thread. yes, I see members prefers to respond to invaluable topics. Apparently, they expect to make a quick bucks by not having to strain their brains. I have lost interest to open any thread -- meaning to share knowldge with them. Chinese people have a saying that says "knowledge is not for FREE"
Look at my thread - WRITERS' CORNER, I received a nasty respond from one member who used vulgar language. Perhaps this topic will cost them time to respond.
I would very much like to agree with you such topic that does not involve emotional and knowledge value should be discarded.

well , we do see some good quality
discussions on this site . And there
are a lot of simple topics with just
queries and answers .
This site is for discussing anything
under the Sun . But most of us just
interested in increasing the points
(ratings) in the less possible time
so that earning more money in less
time will be possible . Thats why
many of us put simple topics and
respond to simple topics on this
site ...

It's true that people are trying to earn money, but surely there are better ways to spend your time and make money. I think if you are going to spend the time to read these questions and responses, you might as well be engaged with the topic of the moment. There are so many topics to choose from, people aren't limited to those that are superficial if they don't want to be.

i think that people like u and me and slowly but steadily have to ensure that decent topics come up for discussions..i don't have unlimited time at my disposal and its takes me a huge amount of effort to locate the kind of dicussion I would feel like responding..but what I have observed is that slowly but surely things are improving..and that would become more obvious with the passage of time..and since u are new its very important that people like u start posting discussions which not only makes sense but also motivates people to respond..

i will speak for myself. i admit i dont take part in many serious issues becuz i dont have knowladge enough helpful to type. if i dont make anything wise i dont response to the topic. as for one-word responses i dont like them becuz i like to type at least 2 sentences. honestly i dont know how a topic goes to top discussions, mine has never been there. i can reply something connected with me my life or personality. well sorry but that's the way i am. im not wise to know everything, im not mother, i dont have job i dont participate in political life, i know neither about marriage nor divorce.

Yup, some members want to increase their points so that they just post post and post some non sense topics, I really hate those who cheat here, but I just give them some negative ratings when i see that some discussions are non sense. Please help to clean those cheaters, if you see some postings that give some non sense issues, rate them with - sign or if they really abuse, report it with mylot

I have to say that I disagree with you. If you are a citizen of the world, then you are political. You cannot avoid politics if you want because whatever the leaders of your country do affect you and the rest of the citizens in that country, the surrounding countries and the world in general, if not specifically. It is everyone's responsibility to know and care what is going on around them, whether it is in their own town or the whole country. You probably have a lot more opinions and knowledge than you are admitting. Speak up.

oh you guys there's no need to get too serious. i don't see anything wrong with topics like "do you like dogs?', honestly sometimes it's more fun to talk about simple topics, it's all about having fun, i mean really if you don't like the topic then don't join the discussion. people have different taste. what's nonesense to you is probably not to others.sometimes i like to join"heavy", deep, challenging discussions, and a lot of times i just wanna join light and simple discussions bec it helps me to releive stress. it's not all about the money you know.

u r very true man ....it is absolutely right . most of the person care about their earning thats why they just responding such discussion in which taken time should be minimum . i agree that that kind of crap discussion should should not be allowed .

Ya this is absolutely true my friend.
Once i posted a query regarding java.
No one responded it.
Only one guy responded that too he asked me to try these type of question in yahoo answers and not in myLot.
What to do.
My lot should take action against this.

You are correct the name of the game to many on mylot is post as much as you can as fast as you can and typing out a long detailed explantory post is like kryptonite to some here. But if you type fast enough it really doesnt matter that much.

I do not see mylot as a psychiatrist, therefore nobody completely is enabled here to take care of of the problems of the others. I see that very here they make the best one to be able to help and to answer the questions that are placed here, and I know that if mylot to more still make it difficult, many people go to leave. Therefore many already pass 5 hours more than here answering and giving everything of sí. Some for profits and others why gostão of the Mylot. I think that it is not necessary that the Mylot comes to make it difficult still more the form to earn, therefore each one makes here for pleasure and liking it mylot! For being easy to talk here, exactly not knowing very well to say English! Taste of the Mylot as it is Today and it would not like that it was more difficult to earn here.

well i truly agree to you my dear friend when i join thsi i have haertd a lot about thia biut now i am lot dishatened after seing thsi type of discussions and people even responding this, but mylot is keeping an eye on them and deleting such discussion so just be cool and play your role nicely

;) so many times i read this topic since i join mylot 3 month ago...hmm many member still think we have to post to 100% best topic OR quality topic...with looooonnnnggg word.they dont take the point.if u think another member just read subject, you should see 2 option why...first they dont have time...second they first language not english...so blame another member its not correct.just dont feel negative for another member MYLOT know what to do with cheater member.

change is what humans need but it should always be for improvement.. when an individual is trying to initiate an healty discussion the instead of being negative u should have supported him and try toknwo his interests.
Listen u on one side propogate that u wanna be postitive and still u dont respect opinions. I think u can be a bit more optimistic and make efforts to improve the site u r using rather than keeping all the responsibility on the owners of the site.

plus you may have discussions people don't want to answer to or there was another discussion close to yours on the same topic that they already answered to. I have discussion that don't have many answers and or no responses or I have discussions that sat for a week or two with no responses and have just started getting some. you said something about the ones where people basically asked no brainer questions do you like this or that where peopel don't have to answer long answers ...you that as well in one of your post I think is liek do you like coffee or tea or something on that line? So whats the difference? Do you answer all the quality post. I don't answer a lot of the ones in here because there are days I just stick with the discussions that come up under the interset I filled out in mylot when I first joined then some times I venture out here into general.

thing is there are a lot of people that post those topics because well think they are trying to make a living using my lot and they think oh this is easy. I try to get to the discussions that have no responses but am only one person and well can't get em all...lol I can see doing a test. If you arent here to make a living off mylot with discussions just keep posting. There are so many discussions in here that are good and well takes time for people to get to them. It'll be okay. Sometimes I don't get involve in some discussions in here because they are discussions I wouldn't get involved in outside of mylot because well some people can be mean when you answer honestly. now the one liner brainers I will do some of those sometimes as well just to brreak up the long post that I have done on and off during the day.

i am a person(engineering student) who always believe in experiment . first i post a quality discussion. no one answered then i see those profiles who got good responds and then saw their topics. then i posted two discussion topics (for whome u talking about). and find that i got more responses for these topic . after that this discussion topic comes in my mind . so ur right i posted that kind of topic but i did it only for test .

I am only able to respond to those discussions that I know something about. Each day my mind changes and what may not have interested me yesterday may be of interest to me today. I like the diversity of different types of discussions. Then I can always reply to them in the future.
I have discussions I started when I frist came here that had zero response, then after 1 month they now have over 50 repsonses. So, you just never know when the responses will come or when a person will feel like trying that discussion. Just keep coming up with new discussions and you may be surprised to find one day they have lots of responses. Build your friendship base and respond to others discussions.

I think it would be so hard to monitor what type of answers are being posted on each topic. Can you imagine? That means that every answer needs to be reviewed by a human person to make sure that it actually satisfies the criteria requested of an intelligent answer. I dont think that MYLOT would be able to afford to pay anyone if they had to use this type of manpower. I for one, do not stop to read each and every answer and just skip to answering the question. I know that, although my answer will be similar to some others, it will never be the same because I do take my time to answer as completely as possible without giving just half fast answers. I like helping out and I like giving my opinion in full.
So, sorry my friend, I know that it can suck, but I dont think there is any way around it.
