Orkut.com, like it or hate it?

Well there's no doubt that Orkut.com has brought the world closer and it has a huge no of users joining everyday!
But there are a lot of users who are impersonating,posting false information,annoying people,creating offensive communities and a lot more adds to it!
So what do you people think about it, and what improvements according to you shall be made?

orkut is a community by which you can reach lakhs and millions of people's heart very easily by the help of internet and your keyboard. i myself like orkut very much. at the same time i request the MLM & internet job gurus not to spoil orkut no more.(already some % of orkut is filled with these scam MLM links know!)

Orkut.com is a good site which help to establish the relationship of friendship, business activity. But the fake info regarding the personal given should be avoided. Strict rules and regulation should be made for improvement of orkut in order to keep it clean.

No offence, but what is orkut.com? Is it much like another myspace? Maybe facebook? I don't wish to really sign up at all, but I am very curious as to what it is all about.

i just love orkut...it helped me to find so many long lost friends...
but u know every rose has its thorns...like in orkut..everyone can read your scraps...

well i think they should provide us the option to make the scrapbook publically un-viewable,that would help a lot :)

i have joined it from 1 year but i seldom goto orkut and use and scrap , the things u have told are right but every good site or community have these kind of bad members bcoz those are in this world

its better to waste time on mylot and earn something rather than posting to boring forums in orkut

mylot= learning + typing skills + fun + money + improved english + timepass + orkut
i liked orkut 2 months ago but, orkut sucks my brain now

I like Orkut as it has brought the world very near. It has turned this world into a global village. It has became a platform to reach thousands of users all around the world with various interests. I like the way it brings the people with common interests.

orkut is just fine bur it should be more easy to handle i.e.
it should provide more features to attract the new
generation & there should be a provision for selection
of games , networking or few extra features.
false implication should not be there at all.
