Statistically he has taken the most wickets but is this enough to give him the title of the greatest bowler of all time? Should we take his personal life into account?

Yes,Shane Warne is one of the greatest bowler the cricket world have today. He has taken the highest wickets for Australia but he can't be said the best bowler the cricket world has today when Great bowlers like Muralitharan is still in this business.

warne is the gr8est spinner of all time. i wont say he's the gr8est bowler. there were some gr8 fast bowlers too. malcom marshal, dennis lilley, imran khan, wasim akram, waqar, kapil dev, glenn mcgrath they were also gr8 bowlers. the list is not complete guys.

Surely he is one of the greatest bowler but not the greatest of all the persons. His wicket taking carrer may be the best and his personal life may also be worst. But his wickets are not of much value. We can't never judge a person by his statistics. We Indian batsmen have a soft corner for Warne. He was hit many times by Sachin. He only performed because of his teammates and the pressure of the Australian team. It is supposed to be the best team and he did use his all sorts of wicket taking talents only lately when Australia became the number one.

no not at all.
he took 700+ in test cricket. but he didnot took much wickets in oneday cricket. and muralidharan is coming to cross him in less tests than warne. so we can't justify that warne is a greatest bowler.if we took his personal life also then he will be kilometers ago to the greatest bowler race.
