BCCI's New initiative -Performance based payment

Board Of Cricket control of India have formed a committee to explore performance based payments for its player.I think it is praiseworthy effort by BCCI .If implemented ,I think,it would have a significant impact in the quality of game and also a morale booster to perform better for Indian cricketer. So what do you think ? would you welcome such an initiative ? Does it have any downsides? More imporatanly will the players welcome such an effort? Chip in your comments, ideas and its pros and cons .
