I love that movie, and the book, as I am a fanatical reader of Stephen King! After reading the book, I couldn't wait for the movie to come out and it was just as good as the book! I've always liked Kathy Bates and James Caan, and I think they both did a wonderful job in this movie!

I think this movie has got to be my very favourite, I am not one to go to see the same movie twice but I went to see this movie three times and now have the DVD, I love it, I think if you see a movie with Kathy Bates in it you can be pretty sure it is a good one.

I remember that movie, and what poor James Caan went through in it, but they both played amazing parts and she was one woman not to mess with!

oh man i love that movie! wow did kathy bates ever play a great role! i was very young when it came out but i did see it in theatres although it might not have been the greatest idea lol. i havent seen a bad movie with her in it yet.

I have not yet watched "Misery" the movie, but I have read the book back when I was still in junior high. That was one of the greatest non fiction, thriller books I have ever read. Stephen King is one of the greatest writer in the thriller category, I believe. Oh, and Kathy Bates, I think, would be the best one to play the lead role there. She so resemble the woman that they depict in the book. Have you read the book? Isn't it great? I would love to see the movie. I hope it is as good as the book.(=

Kathy Bates is kind of like Robin Williams: They are not supposed to play in dark thrillers. They are more of a comedy/drama actor/actress.
Robin Williams was good in ONe Hour Photo just like Kathy Bates was good in this movie. I also loved her in A Home of Our Own with a very young Edward Furlong (Terminator 2).
