WOW Christmas for us was a total blast. My husband and I were the ones doing all the traveling but it was all worth it. As some of you know my birthday is Dec 24th and my mother and son took me to a restaurant I have been wanting to go to for a year now. It was a total blast. Christmas day my husband and I spent the day with his mothers family and we had fun. My kids were totally spoiled. How was your Christmas? Was it what you expected? Did you receieve the items you wanted or needed?Give me details. 1 liners will get a negative rating.

Glad to hear that you enjoyed your Xmas ! I did too. It was my puppy's first one and she had a ball with all the wrapping paper. I got lots of thoughtful presents from hubby and was able to make him happy by giving him some too. Best of all I was able to make my friend's Xmas. She's a single Mum and had stretched to buy for her 3 kids. I bought extras so we had round 2 of presents when I arrived on the morning and best of all, I'd bought presents for her FROM the kids so they were very excited as they were upset they had nothing to give her and that Santa seemed to have forgotten Mummy. I explained he left her presents at my place to bring up as I don't have children and it saved him making an extra trip in from the sleigh to carry it all! They were thrilled and so was I to see the smiles we'd put there..........

We didnt spoil the kids this year we really couldnt afford it, not that they dont deserve to be spoiled, My daughter is a christmas baby so she always gets spoiled, all in all better than i expected, my mother in law was very generous this christmas which was odd,I got clothes which i needed very much, And a very nice watch, but the best thing was my wifes christmas dinner, She is usuallty in such a hurry to cook, but she took her time and added a special ingredient.... LOVE... Happy New Year to you and yours....

Well, I'm glad that you've had fun. Our christmas was great too and it was nothing like I've expected. Because we went all the way to Iowa to visit my in-laws, thought that it'll be really boring, but it wasn't at all. Infact, I had so much fun and I can't wait to do it again next year. I got all the presents that I asked for from my wishlist.

A belated happy birthday to you. We are not christian but we celebrate christmas just for fun. I celebrate ID, christmas, guru jayanti and holi diwali everything. I feel celebration just needs an excuse. We went to my hubbies christian friend to wish them mery christmas. They had just bought a karaoke system and we all sang so many songs. Even my son sang a song for his little sister. It was totallly fun filled evening as many of us were real bad singers. My son got a new confidence as his song got a rating of 83 that was marked as good. He was thrilled and now thinks he will be a great singer one day. Santa brought him the game of Monopoly which we all played today in the afternoon. In the evening when his friends came over, I heard him telling them that its a family game so has to be played with the family and I couldn't help smiling at his innocent interpretation. As a whole we all had a lot of happiness and fun. Merry christmas to you and a very happy new year 2007.

I am not Christian any more either. I used to be but within the last 2 years I have converted to Wiccan so we celebrate Yule which is almost the same as christmas but it is celebrated on Dec 21st not the 25th. We just celebrate Christmas for our kids and our family who celebrate it.

Ours was a little rough, our one year old was not in the best of moods, later we found out the day after Christmas he had a double ear infection. But overall we had fun with all the relatives and got a few nice presents which is a bonus.

We had a blast too and we traveled a lot as well. We visited 5 homes in the 2 days - 4 of which are 2 hours from our house. I got all I wanted and then some! We had asked for a window from my dad (he's the plant mgn. at a window factory) because our windows need replaced and I knew he was going to spend the money anyway so we thought we'd ask for something that we needed. We're also trying to get some remodeling/updating done to our home because we are wanting to adopt and we need to start saving for it. Well my maturnal grandma ended up getting us a window too. Then when we went to my dads house he had gotten all the windows for our house that we needed. He's coming today to install them (or as many as he can)! Our Christmas was already going great and that just made it all the better. The only thing I hated was that I didn't get to see my sister expect for the 2 mintues she ran in at my Grandmothers to get a plate of food. She's a paramedic now and had to work. It was my first Christmas without her and I hated it. So did she. But she's and her hubby are coming to stay with us a couple of days tomorrow. And I'm excited about that! One of my sister-in-laws was in too with my neice and nephews. I loved that!

I really enjoyed my Christmas this year, even though it left me exhausted. I spent the entire day with my fiance' and her family, and we split that time between both sides of her family. We had breakfast one place, dinner another place, and then finally had some alone time between the two of us later that night. It was a lot of fun, and we got to have a good time meeting many family members we hadn't seen in a while. This year I didn't really ask for all that much, but I did receive everything I wanted, including a kiss from my fiance', a couple of gift cards, and a really nice new coat. All in all, I would have to say it was a great Christmas!

My Christmas was crazy but great. We traveled alot too, had to go to my parents and my inlaws and make time for our Christmas at home too. I got exactly what I asked for from hubby, a puppy, exact breed I asked for too, which was really hard for him to find. My son is loving her too, a bit too much. SHe's a chiweenie and he is only four so he keeps picking her up and stuff, she is so tiny I am afrid he will hurt her so we are really having to watch him. But it was a great Christmas for everyone, the grandparents really spoiled my son, which is too be expected. He walks around saying it was the best CHristmas ever.

I spent Christmas day with my family. In the morning we always go to mom and dads house, after we have opened our presents at home. I took my boys to their dads after that and they opened gifts with him. In the evening we had supper at my parents which was great, my mom is such a good cook. My 21 year son gave me a beautiful robe and slippers. My daughter gave me a beautiful blue sweater. My boyfriend well I hinted at a couple things I really wanted but I didn't get them. I don't understand him he says he loves me so much, but he doesn't really show it.

Christmas is always a difficult time. You cannot easily decide what you're going to get to whom, and the presents you receive are sometimes quite disappointing. I've simply chosen to have a nice dinner and skip the presents. After all, you can offer presents any other day of the year, not just on the day you "have to".
