With the new year right around the corner I am going to try to be a better person and possibly quit smoking (AGAIN). How about you what are your New Year Resolutions?

I do not do the resolutions anymore, as I never follow through. I am just living day to day, doing the best I can. Good luck to you thought dear. Happy New Years.

The only reason that I do the resolutions is to try to set a standard for myself. I like the idea of having goals in life since if I have no goals then I really have no accomplishments. I guess I just like to feel like I am actually doing something rather than just lingering. thank you for the post and have a great day!!

You have very valid reasons. I used to do it, but for some reason I would fall back on my resolution. I do hope that your's will be done though. You are wise, good luck. Happy New Year.

Thank you for the kind words. I hope that they will come to fruition this year as my only vice that I have left is my smoking (except my excessive chocolate). So hopefully I can get rid of it as it costs mee way too much money. Thank you for the post and have a great day!!

The new years holiday is the only holiday that I will recognize even with out Mrs. Mee and the Girls since it marks the day that like it or not I have to buy a new calander. So it marks out with the old and in with the new to mee. And no the quitting of smoking will not make mee a better person but it is still something that I would like to do. Thanks for the post and have a great day!!

I wish you the very best of luck with the stop smoking thing. Here in Michigan it is 5-6 dollars a pack so it will save mee a lot of money if I can actually quit this time. I have been smoking for about 21 yrs now and I have quit a dozen times but I always start back up, so hopefully this time will be different. Thank you for the post and have a great day!!

I never really seem to stick with my resolutions. hah! Although it's kinda frustating, knowing there's a greater chance that all of those resolutions will only be good on paper and will most likely never be followed again, still.. so, I'll probably just try to be a better person and not procrastinate as much.

That falls under the "Easier said than done" clause. I am certain that you will become a better person since that is the total control of yourself. Only you can make you a better person, noone else. Have a wonderful new year with many more to come!!
