giving gifts you got for christmas away to someone else?

do you think this is bad? i mean if they give you somthing you don't like, can't use, or got to many of would it be ok to in return give it to someone you think can use it? i think it is ok to do.

the gifts i receive on christmas on any other occassions, i keep them. i never give them away even if it's already torn and ugly through time. it reminds me of the person who gave it to me. and that's how i respect other people's thoughtfulness towards me.

yes the thought is what counts but if you are honest with the person that gives you the gift they will understand.

I would not do that as it is the thought that counts wether I like the present or not I would keep it as a Sentimental Value to be honest with you

but if you are honest with the person that gave it to you and tell them that you really can not use this but you know someone that could they most usally understand becuase everyone at one point and time has this happen

no i don't if you give to someone else than you get more in return so i think its good to give and better for some one els eto get them

I find nothing wrong with this. As long as the person who gave you the gift never finds out. I hate for somebody to give me something I don't like and then it just sit in my house. I'd rather give it to somebody who could use it or who would use it. Now, if you are just too cheap to buy a gift, that's another story.
