In an Instant A split second to change things forever, nothing is ever to be the same. Skidding tyres, smashing glass, a killer of renowned fame. Blackness and burning pain, blood seems to be everywhere. The long days in hospital, with no friends or family there. Operation after operation, scars that will never go away. Emotional scars as well as physical, a reminder every day. I like to think I have learned from this, I guess in my own way I've grown. Although it has been a personal hell, I've learned not to whine and moan. There is always someone worse off, someone who is struggling too. Remember life can change in an instant, how you learn from it is up to you.
