Yes and I love them. I backup really important stuff on one. I also use one to hold digital photos. Then I plug that flash disk into a digital picture frame I have so I can have a slide show. they are also great to store files on that you need and want access to at any computer.

Yes, we have a few. Each family member has one, and there's a 160 G USB darive where we back up EVERYTHING on the hard drive. On my personal one, 256Mb I back up all my books and friends' books that I work on - and also important documents. It's a great back up and so much easier than burning to CDROMs though I do that too with my books.

I don't have a flash disk. I do have a spare sd card. I use that card as my flash disk. It is not so useful because my sd card only has 1 GB memory. Not enough for my data.

Yes I have a USB flash disk. I find it very useful as I carry about an operating system on it. Yes that is right you can fit a whole operating system onto a 1GB or smaller flash drive. I have Linux on it and it is really good and quick. You can also transfer stuff you do on other computers to each other! It is really useful in my opinion.
