Not all diets are healthy. And many can cause more harm than good, so simply dieting is not the answer.

The two best diet programs I have ever used were Weight Watchers...I can't afford the meetings or I would still be going, lol. I also use the basic food pyramid put out by the FDA. Limiting fats, sugars, and unnecessary carbs, is also essential to weight loss. I try to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. I need to give up soda again, when I start my new diet. That really helps. Exercise is very important. The easiest one for me is walking. Even if you just start out with 15 minutes a day and slowly increase it by 5-10 minutes every other day or so, it will help tremendously. If you don't want to walk outside, there are walking in home DVD's, by Leslie Sansone are great. Best of luck to you. I will be working on mine right along with you.

Thank you for best response. I really appreciate it. You can do it. Like I said, I will be working on mine too. It is a process, not a fast one, but a process just the same.

Drink a lot of water to start (at least 8 glasses per day) and start slowly by eating in moderation and avoiding fatty or high calorie foods for a few weeks before starting any formal dieting plans. I have found that these small changes really help to prepare for more organized dieting efforts
