Understand English.

So, I have read many discussions here about how most people cannot understand some of the questions due to lack of proper English. My question is: Do people with broken English have as much trouble understanding questions in proper English? Why or why not?

I would think that this would be a great way to improve English skills, if you take the time to try to read the discussion and the responses. Check the spelling before you post (it's a good learning tool), and pay attention to how people structure sentences; you just have to remember that not everything is written in proper English, even by those of us who speak English as our native language- we sometimes have some bad habits! The lack of understanding may contribute to some of the "arguing" in the discussions; the poster may mean one thing and the person commenting might interpret or translate it to mean another. Either way, just try your best and be proud that you have learned as much as you have.
