I am upset! Google Adsense is not making me much money. Please help!!

Started couple of blogs a few weeks back and it took a lot of time and effort to get the blogs in shape and did all I could to market the blogs in the hope that I would earn some cash out of Google Adsense.
About 3weeks to a month has passed and I've only made $21.74, most of which are clicks from my hubby and friends. How in the world do people make money from Adsense??!!! I just don't get it!
If you are an Adsense user and have made some decent income from them, please share your tips with me.. Btw, my blogs are http://prettybits.blogspot.com & http://blogbigmoney.blogspot.com
Can someone tell me what is wrong with my blogs?? Is the content lame or something?

I don't think $21.74 is bad. I have only made about $2.00 so far. I think posting your URl here will help because I certainly am going to take a look, good luck.

I saw someone's post in here that says that you make no money. You reach a certain amount and then they say that you violated some guidelines or something and they cancel your account.

Why dont you try to post some things that will encourages people to visit ur blogs!...Anyways, 21.74 is already good!..It is big already for the begginner like you!...Just extend your patience and try to do something in your blog that will attract people and for you to earn better in the near future!...

wow, youve made alot for 3 weeks! ive been registered for 1 week and ive made barely one dollar! i duno wat to do! although im thinking of ways to do it tho!! if i do come up with something il tell u! i jus made one blog..you can make two blogs on the same site??

I have to agree that $21.74 is really good for 3 weeks. I have had mine up for months and gotten only $16. The best thing to do is just tell everyone you know about it. What internet groups do you belong to? Do you tailor it to a specific interest? Targeting it is the best way to go.

lol...if you really want to make money with adesense you must buy a domain + hosting and start your own site not a subdomain. try to learn SEO (search engine optimization)
