A little bit of this and alittle bit of that

lol yes I do that aswell and in between I do the hoovering and the cleaning and goodness knows what else like you say we would get nothing done if we didn't lol

Oh my goodness yes! In fact, I will post here, then go to another site sometimes, then come back later. I don't just sit down and post for any length of time. I like to check back in a couple times throughout the day.

I have to do this too.. I post a bit deal with kids and the house and go back to posting. This month has been slow for me though because my kids out of school and the holiday's. This is a very busy season for me and my family. I do like to come here and do other things as well. My new thing is poker. LOL It doesn't make me any money though... but, yes I do a little of this then a little of that :)

Terry, I am the queen at multitaking on mylot, or anything else. I cannot do one thing at time. I can do about 6 things or so. Hehhe. Hugs sugar, thanks for your friendship.

Oh boy I multi task every day and every second of the day. Just for example I just talked on the phone, swept and mopped my floor... I do this all the time. I dont know how I get so much done everyday but I do. I also clean a lot while I am doing other things... making dinner I clean the kitchen while I am cooking. Then there is the part of the kid... I am always paying attention to her while I do things. It is a wonder how I am still sane!

I do multitask as well. It is not posible to sit for a long infront of the computer. And if you don't do other home work in between then it will be hard to get lunch or dinner at time. Or you may have to wear dirty cloths if you don't do laundry:). While I am infront of the computer also I don't do Mylot only. I browse through other sites.

Yep, I do this. I tend to post in 5's, so I will work here until my rating goes up by 5 points then do whetever is next on my list, and come back a bit later and do a little more. Its quite nice having little goals to work towards like that and it stops me getting sucked in.

I definitely do that. Particulary with myLot but also other things, I find myself playing little mental games like work a little, play a little, repeat from beginning. Also, I'm happier when I'm multi-tasking. I don't want to just sit down in front of the TV for example. I want to have my laptop or crochet or a sudoku puzzle or something. My husband thinks this is nuts and prefers to totally focus on one thing at a time. I've had to adjust the way I have conversations with him because he hates to jump from subject to subject and it's how my mind tends to work!

Yes I multi-task, I am a little like you, I do a little on the computer then a little bit of housework then back to the computer, otherwise I wouldn't get anything done either. I must admit MY LOT is very addictive, but most of my time I spend looking for discussions instead of replying to them. So it's then when I decide to start a discussion of my own, just to break the monotony of looking for good discussions.

yes i do. I have to - i mean, i spend hours here on mylot - chores keep coming up now and then , can't really avoid them.

Yeah, coz around here, if I'm not the one attending to the house hold chores, no one will. We'd probably be covered in dusts right now and eat alongside cockroaches.hehe

i actually only do mylot when im reading emails, play lotto and read news on the net...so i do multitask..somewhat..

I multitask alot on the computer alot. I will do 15 min of chores and 15 min on the computer.

Yes, i do that also. I usually do the laundry while posting here at mylot. Then have a break and check the laundry. Then clean the house, then come back here at mylot. Then i attend to other things that needs to be done,. after that, i relax and go back to mylot again. Wow! all i did was a little of everything and almost a lot here at mylot.Goodluck!

I do my best to multitask while I'm on mylot. I don't just spend time on here but as well on other sites and as well in other areas of the house. I don't always leave the computer on while I go and do something else. I try to always keep more than one thing going at the same time. I'll even go and do a little housecleaning in between my mylot sessions. I'll finish up a batch of discussions and then I'll take a break and go grab a little something to eat and then do some dusting or vacuuming. I find it helps me to be able to get more finished around here when I go ahead and multitask on a few things. If I'm not housecleaning, I'll do something else like make the bed or just tidy up in the bedroom here. Sometimes I feel you just need to take a break for a little bit from this site, or I don't believe if I was to do this.. That anything would be getting done throughout the day. And that a lot of things would be just left for the next day.. Which could lead to me getting all stressed out because I will feel like I haven't gotten anything accomplished around the house.. I think it's a better idea to try to multitask and do a variety of different things. That was maybe the reason why when my other half comes home I've pretty much got everything taken care of. All the dishes would be put away and the sinks would be dried out and ready for the morning. I like to make sure that I have as much done as possible because then I feel like I've truly accomplished something during my day. There's nothing I like more than to feel good that I've made a difference around here every day. If I can respond to some discussions and then take care of some things around here and then go back to some more discussions and finish up my part, I can spend the rest of the night relaxing and unwinding from my strenuous day. I know that I used to never want to multi-task as I didn't like to leave my computer on for all to long.. But I know that I will leave my computer on while folding laundry or having to dust quickly.. But I don't try to leave the computer on for hours on end while I am not in the room.. As I feel if I was to do this.. It would help to make the power bill rather high.. So I try to turn the computer off sometimes instead of leaving it on for hours on end while I go all about doing my daily chores or activities.. Other times I will leave it on for a while when I am doing these things.. But for the most part I try to turn the computer off instead quite honestly. In conclusion, I definitely try to multitask on everything I do. I believe if you have three or four things on the go at the same time you won't get bored that easily and it will help to keep me going throughout the day. I like to try to keep things around here as neat and tidy as possible so I find multi-tasking sometimes is the best thing I could possibly do to get things done around the house.. But also on mylot at the same time to! . . Thank you for allowing me to share! xx
