I have been working and living in Kuwait for 6 monthes.I had a great time there, with my friends.Friendship there mean a lot more than here, in Europe.Friends spend more time together there, than here...maybe coz there is nothing else to do. I realize that i wasnt aware of other cultures behaviour , before to get there and spend some time among muslims. They are great people, helping you if you are in need.Open to learn about you and the place that you are coming from, especially if you are coming from Europe. And also we had some talks about religions. I am sure that not everybody knows that our religions have the same roots.

Good luck to you. I lived and worked there for almost 23 years. The place is OK, but nothing much to brag about. You are right about having nothing else to do, and about the friendship. I learned who my real friends were in 1990, when Iraq invaded Kuwait. Having had muslim friends right from my school days, it was not much of a culture shock to me.

I've allways thought that all religions have the very same roots, are based on the same moral ground. Talking about human interaction, it's good to see people interested in your culture, your way of life...
