Gold, Silver or Platinum!!

What do you prefer to gift someone or want to have one yourself?? Will it be Gold, Silver, Platinum or any other precious stone like Diamond, Emerald or anything which you would like to possess or gift someone!!!

Emerald Ring - photo of an emerald and diamonds ring set in white gold/platinum similar to one I have.
You might say that mine preference is a combination of all three. My favorite ring is a Colombian emerald set in white gold and surrounded by diamond chips. Most of the jewelry that I have bought is white gold, with the exception of a few things I picked up in Saigon where white gold is not very popular and hard to come by. I would probably prefer platinum but it is much more expensive and my pension doesn't stretch that far.

the image is very similar except there are fewer diamond chips that form a star.

Last count it was 53 but I had given some of them away. I used to buy a ring from every place I visited when I was travelling. Some people collect charms (which I did too) but my passion was for rings. I've probably bought over 300 over a period of 25 years but a lot of them were gifts for family and friends.

I like gold. It is prettier than, silver, or Platinum. I have a lot of gold jewelry. I like diamonds too.
