Terrorist - terrorist sign

I am always reading about scenarios about if this happened it would cause this much damage. Like today in the news it say a carry on bomb would flood NY tunnels between NY and New Jersey and would effect 230,000 people. Now do they not think the terrorist read? Do not ever think this may put an idea in someone's head? What is wrong with our media?

I've always wondered. They expose some information that probably just shouldn't be talked about. Thats not even mentioning the NY Times which blabs from secret sources on how we are fighitng the war on terror. They blab then terrorists are wise to it, making it harder. Oh well, at least they get ratings from it right?

I'm glad I am not the only one who sees this.

I know if I was in the terrorist business I would read all the news papers to get ideas. I felt this way too.

Yes I would too. You know they must be reading them for their ideas.

I have never understood the media. They are always the first ones to "guess" what could happen. Then when something does happen, they are the first ones to say "I told you so!" If the media would take a different approach and print stories about good things in this world instead of focusing on every bad thing that happends or could happen - This world could be a whole different place.

I agree, the media could change the way people think.

I know its like we are giving them targets to hit in our major cities. I don't understand why that kind of information would be allowed to be printed.

I have wondered the same thing. Some of these terrorists are pretty well educated, since they are what is called sleeper-cells. I think sometimes our news carriers give too much information and unintentionally aide these terrorists.

I also wonder at times if that doesn't help terrorist. Seems like we tell them everything that is going on so they are ahead of everything that happens.. Makes me wonder alot.

I always felt that way. Why is the media so dumb as to give them ideas that they might otherwise not have? There is no limit to what the media will say to write their stories.

YES! Iv'e always asked this question too. I mean, why would you want to put in the media something like that when it could just help terrorists get ideas of what to do. I think the media should start being a little more careful of what they put out there.

in my opinion i think that it does, it lets them think good of themselfs of what the have accomplished. its mean and crule to see all that they are capable of to hurt innocent people

I totally agree with you! I've always wondered why they give out information that could harm us in such a callus way.
