My son just started saying dada last week and it's so cute. My hubby had been telling me that our son was going to say dada first and I kept saying oh no he's going to say mama first. But hubby was excited when he got home one day and heard our son. It just sounds so cute. He has said mama only four times and the rest of the time is dada. So what was your child's first word?

Fist Full Of Dollars - man holding money
You know the old saying if they say dada first the next will be a boy an dif they say mama it will be a girl. I did not want my sons first word to be either so I tried to get him to say something else and he did. I have a picture of him holding a fist for of dollars and his first word was money . LOL

My oldests first word was mamma, my second child was babah, and the youngest was mommy. I can't wait to find out what the little girl I am pregant with now's first word will be.

Both my kids said dada. It is easier for them to say than other words. Most children say dada frst. I was more happy when they finaly said mama.
