is ur eyesight good or do you wear contacts?

my eye sight is really bad...i need some contacts...how many of you out there have good vision? bad vision?

Superhiiro, it is because you are asian. It is hereditary to be near sided for you. I know what I say, as I was also an optician. I wear glasses too. Bifocals. They are not fun.

Yes, I am serious. Native American's from America share the same problem. And most Asian's do as well. There isn't anything you can do, but wear your glasses. You can get smaller frames, and high index lenses, to cut down the thinkness.

i wish i could get contacts...my optometrist said i wasnt a good candidate for contacts.

I can see good close up but far away forget it. I went to the DMV a while back and forgot my glasses and it took me nearly every letter in the ABC's to finally guess the letter I was looking at was "C". Needless to say I got a good scolding and warning to keep my glasses on me at all times!

I did not need to wear glasses until I was 22. I believed it is because my previous job requires heavy usage of the computer and I'd strained my eyes. I wear contact lenses only on special occassions because my eyes are dry by nature and they're not really suited for lenses. I guess you've the same problem? I feel that guys look smart in glasses but not so for ladies, especially when they are formally dressed up. It'll spoilt the total image. I thought of going for lasik but it's very expensive. You are young and lasik may be the answer for you.
