Everyone's had them, what do you do with your unwanted Christmas presents? I put mine away and give them to others as birthday presents, or save them for next Christmas or sell them on Ebay.

That's not a problem I have .. as I don't get Christmas presents .. well not for the last 5 years or so anyway ... so there is never a dilemma with what to do with the ones I don't want ... I have bought a few Christmas presents though .. all were delighted with what I gave them ;o)

No ... to be honest I haven't really had any Christmas presents since about 1990 .. it's never bothered me ... and I think I would be quite embarrassed if someone turned up with a Crimble pressie for me ...

awww Toots if I had known I would have bought you one! If i recieve a present which I dont like or need, It go's into a big box which I keep in the back bedroom and I give it away next christmas! But I have to keep a note of who gave it to me so i dont give it back to the same person - which I have done a couple of times, lol

Charity, I've always done that makes me feel good. Cause I think gifts can not be sold, If i don't like them there are people who would definately like'em. But there is no one to give them one, so usually give it for charity and send it foster homes etc etc

If they are clothes I send them to the homeless shelters, other things I send to the consignment shops and donate the money to charity.

You know, I have a blanket that someone gave me two years ago that is in my linen closet, still in the wrapper? I never thought to re-gift it, but I suppose it would be safe two years later, eh? Although, I've gotta tell you, I've gotten a few things as gifts that were so attrocious that they ended up in the garbage. (I've never told anyone that!) This elderly woman that I used to work with gave me a photo album one year that was so horrifyingly ugly that it took every bit of self control I had when I opened it not to ask her what in the hell she was thinking! The front cover was shaped like a woman's torso wearing the most gaudy red and black lingerie you could imagine. I have no idea what on earth possessed her to give me such a thing, but it went straight into the garbage when I got it home.

That's a good idea. I don't really get gifts much. But, if I do get something I don't care for, I will give it away, as long as the person that gave it to me won't know. If they would, I just keep it.

Keep them in the closet or give them to my parents. They like them all.

I either regift them or return them to the store.

I try to regift what I can. I've never thought of selling them on Ebay...lol! I think those that give them to charity are doing the most good. I hadn't really thought of that :)
