Why does my rating go down sometimes?

I had 202 ratings points. I went away, came back and now I have 201 points. Why? I replied to one of my referrals links this morning and it went down by one. Then this tonight. Do you lose a point for a negative rating or something? Anybody know the rules on this?

There was an alert about this a little while ago which I can't find now :-) But basically I think it has something to do with discussions being deleted. If you responded to a discussion for example that has since been deemed as breaking the rules etc and was deleted your points will drop accordingly. Have a look through the myLot posts and faq etc it's in there somewhere and that will explain it better.

Thanks for telling me! See what happens when I log off for a little bit! I guess we all need to use care when responding to threads. Choose wisely I guess. I'd hate to post and then lose points!

Don't worry about your point rating. It will fluctuate based on MyLot Administration doing houshold cleanup. If you responded to a discussion that MyLot felt needed to be deleted your point rating will go down. You shouldn't see a decrease in your actual earnings though.
