Why is it that my post # does not go up when i post a reply?

sometimes when i post a reply, my number of posts do not go up.. today i have posted about 5 replies but my number is still at 402.. has this ever happened to any of you? help!

Are you talking about 5 replys to people who have posted in your topic if that is the case, it happens with everyone.
