Success to me is not having to live paycheck to paycheck. We just bought our third house and just finished renovating it so we will be living like that for the next couple months.

I also consider that success. I dont need to have everything, but to just be financially stable is successful to me!!

Sucess to me is having a happy heart and being content with who and what you are. Money, cars, homes etc, can not measure sucess in my world - they are all material and can be stolen, lost, destroyed, but what one feels in their heart and is to themselves can never be taken away, that is true sucess - but that is only one woman's opinion !! I definately agree with Midge on this one. Success cannot be measured by money or posessions, in fact many wealthy people I know are deeply unhappy and spend most of their time desiring more money or worrying who will take it from them. Some people would argue that success can be measured by fame, but I would argue that when you're famous you can never be sure who your real friends are and you probably doubt the honesty of all people who come into your life. Like Midge, I think success is something you can only feel, and that will be different for each person, but I think feeling content, peaceful and happy with your lot in life is defintely a sign of success.
