What is "farm fuel"

why is it so much cheaper than regular gasoline?

they dont charge the road taxes on it it isnt really cheaper

its a bio gas fuel made from farm waste

I was raised on a farm and our 'farm fuel' was either gasoline or diesel fuel.I remember Grandpa having two big above ground tanks,one for each kind of fuel.We filled everything from one or the other depending on what it was.Now farm fuel is gernerally refering to a gas substitute made from either soybeans or corn.;-)

Ethanol could come from many agricultural sources. here in my country, the sources are coconuts, cassava, jathropa and of course, corn. In USA, the major source is corn because it has an abundant suuply of the same. One of the reasons why it is cheaper is the large subsidy the government is extending into the industry as a support.
