I know that many of us have to settle for one job to pay the bills, but if you could do anything you wanted and money was not an object, what would you do? I would be an author.

I am currently in a similar field and have done a few jobs that involve IT. I enjoy it for the most part, but I don't like interacting with customers that don't know what they are doing or don't know their way around a computer. So, I would agree this would be an awesome job, if I could be locked away in a room with no contact with people that might get on my nerves.

I'd want to have enough money to be a philanthropist. I love doing things for people. I'd like to start a good place for orphaned children to live. Foster care isn't the answer. I think we need facilities where caring adults are grouped in houses with children kind of like families. I'd have a school right within the facility with topnotch teachers who are paid for what they do (unlike teachers in the public schools). There'd be all kinds of activities like swimming and tennis and golf as well as play areas for younger children. There would be a cooking class in which the students would cook meals for the whole (or partial) complex. We'd have our own doctor and nurse who not only would treat patients, but who would also teach young people to ready them for medical school. If I had as much money as some of these people do, I could come up with so many ideas. Unfortunately, it will never happen.

What I am doing now sitting on my butt talking to people but of course it would be much better pay! The only part I dont like is I have to keep jumping up to do something around the house that needs my attention. I dont get paid for that.
