Yes, the fees are getting out of range for a lot of people. In our state, the president of the university just had his contract extend for another 3 years. His salary was increased by $45,000 per year, with another $70,000 per year bonus. This is on top of his regular salary of $265,000. And while they granted the president this, they increased the tuition from $109.00 to $120.00 per credit for residents. Although, this might not seem like a large increase, when your taking 12 credits that's an additional $132.00. How can the college justify giving such a huge raise while making it harder for people to afford? I have noticed that a lot of younger people will go to trade school over college due to the price.

Yes the schools especially named convent charge high fees structure. Nowadays the costlier fees is not at all a cause of concern for those people who work in Software companies. But most important of all the Government employees are badly affected. There must be surely a way to stop these nonsense. The fees charged for the students must be reduced by the Government as in the case of Engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu.

yes study in very exclusive school is expensive, but look the future, if u graduated and apply for a job then u graduated from unknown school and the other applicant came from exclusive one. maybe they will hire the one from exclusive than u graduated from which is uknown or non-respective(elite) school. thats the reality

Yes in all private institutions fees are very high, but education quality is poor as compare to olded days, As per my view from baby sitting to tenth standerd per one student around 80 to 1 lak rupes fees have to pay in private schools. What U say

i completely agree with you..its very high fees in institutes and very difficult for middle class parents to afford fees of their 2 or more children until unless they take loans..govt should give some kind of scholarship for students on financial basis of their parents income.

Hi, i definitely agree with you. Its not just the fees, the total expense in educating a child is much high. The child does not only have to go to school, but also to tuition and he has to participate in lot of other activities, building projects etc. All this costs money which the parent has to shell out.
