Mine is ADSL and is about 580kbps which is ok. My sister's is 6MB which isn't available where I am. My boyfriend accidentally plugged a 2nd phone in last week thru the internet connection and I had phone line speed for an evening. Now THAT was slow!!! It's amazing how much we expect now, pc-wise, isn't it? Once upon a time I was happy with my cassette of "Horace Goes Skiing" on the ZX Spectrum which took over an hour to boot up. LOL.

Wow!! Bet songs don't take long to download on your machine. I downloaded an entire album once and it came through in SIX SECONDS via Ethernet! All 70MB of it. How quick is Ethernet?!!

My internet speed is 64 kpbs. I am using Asianet unlimited internet connection. It is slow compared to others. I mainly use internet at home for chatting or orkutting or visiting some important sites. It takes lot of time to download things. I had been using 128 kbps before. Since the cost is less and I can afford only lesser cost of unlimited net I choose the 64 kpbs package. The cost of 64 kpbs is 450 rupees, which is around 10 dollars.
