Tattoos on women

I know its a fashion thing for women to have tattoos, maybe even the small ones of a butterfly or such thing on a shoulder may not be too bad, but I've noticed a trend recently of large tattoos on the small of their backs, some strange gothic or medieaval design. I feel this is too much and not attractive. What are your views, am I wrong and just old fashioned?

I dont like tattoos on woman, god made woman so beautifully that nothing can add more beauty to it. It sounds little nasty but a woman is more beautiful when she wears nothing at all.

Hey I couldn't agree more, although some of the discrete tattoos can be quite attractive, but I have yet to see one that makes a woman more beautiful than she already is. Thanks for your time.

I think it is fairly attractive to have a tattoo on the small of the back on young women. However, the Bible says to not mark on the body - so I'm not totally sure...

Yes I too think that small discete tattoos are ok, some look grotesque. As for the dilemma created by the teachings of the bible, there is always something to make decisions more difficult lol Thanks for your time.

Regardless of gender, to many tattoes is nasty & tacky looking. A small tattoe isnt that bad. I am getting one on the calf of my leg. But I want a small one, nothing big. Its just to tacky for me. A small one can add class & mystery but a large one is tacky. Just my opinion though

Thanks for your contribution, I think I agre with you, large ones can be tacky and I can't understand why people want to mutilate their bodies in this way.

I dont really like tattoos myself and not dreaming at all to have one. Its such a waste of a flawless skin, once you've got it then that would be there forever. Though small tattoos sometimes look nice but i still prefer without it.

Thank you for your view. You mention there 'flawless skin'. What would your thoughts be for a tattoo to disguise some form of disfiguration?

To be honest I hate tattoos full stop, I personally would NEVER have one myself and I think they look horrible especially when you age the skin becomes tighter. I do not like them on men or women, I suppose its personal taste, rather than being old-fashioned. If people have them, they should be covered. I don't like seeing them flashed around and those who have them all over, they look an eyesore and can be very intimidating.

Thank you for your comment. I would agree with you in the main however some of the tattoos that are available are quite attractive. I don't find them too offensive on men generally but agree they can be intimidating with some people. I don't like them on women, it detracts from their beauty in my opinion.

I have one (small) near my ankle of cherries I love it. Now if I could go back in time and not gone on the day I went to get it I don't think I would have one. I went on a day that I felt like was gunna have a nervous break down at work and was thinking well what the heck I might as well because what else could go wrong. Now as for the tat in the small of the back I thought awhile back I wanted a small one but ummm not anymore because I hear the guys calling em tramp stamps and well ummm I don't want to be called that. I even heard a late night host refer to them as that. But to each there own

Yep seen the image on your profile and it does seem nice and fairly discrete, however, I understand what you are saying here too. I now a lot of men have tattoos because they were drunk at the time, on shore leave from the Navy, things like that. I understand that women mostly have them done as a fashion thing, but can also relate to your circumstances. Thanks for your time, have a good New Year (hopefully no more tattoos lol)

I am not a fan of tattos but soo many people have them and on some folks they really don't look bad. Just depends on people's taste and opinions I guess. As far as women I think smaller tattoos look better but on guys larger tattoos I think look O.K.

Quite agree that the small discrete ones can be nice. A friend of mine was having a Golden Eagle tattooed on the whole of his back some years ago, I can't understand why he put himself through the pain of that!! That was a large one!! Thanks for your time.

It sounds to me like you are making the best of both worlds, having them or being able to hide them, that I think is good. I still don't understand why people want them, but everyone to their own. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
