I refuse to beleive that all the world is evil

I seem to do most of my thinking early in the morning. I also do my best writing first thing in the morning. At this time of the day when I feed the cats, the sun is still asleep and everything is so quiet, it reminds me that not all of the world we live in is evil.
I am reminded of those who gave 110% of themselves on 9-11, those who were there helping people and rescuing animals in New Orleans. I am reminded of those who gave (including myself) and went to help the Tsunami victims. I still see courtesy and respect for fellow humans. There is alot of good in this world but unfortunately the media bombards us with the negative and everything that can leave a sense of hopelessness and disgust at the world we share.
I'm not saying that I don't see the evil that lives among us but I also need to look beyond this and know that are still many many good people out there. Let's not let those who are bent on making others suffer and hurt beat the good down.
I remember watching The Stand where people are called to either the dark side or the good side (good and evil). I beleive this is what is truly happening in this world at the moment. Some are called to a better side and some are called to a dark place and in the end we will be part of a fight between good and evil.

Great discussion, positive mind, I agree with you but things will get worst and every day every year will be less good and more evil, people don't trust each other, don't care for each other, but if theres a reminder of few people that think that doing good to others is the right choice, it will be hope.

we should always approach this world with a positive mind. Then things will start looking positive. I think there is still some goodness left in this world and the greatest example for that is my parents. I think they are the greatest people i have ever seen. I am not telling they did many great things or helped a lot of people etc. They keep everyone around them happy, always ready to help anyone and has been a great father and mother to us. there is some goodness left in everyones mind. dont you think so?

the world does seem to be getting worse every year. but during these times, people are being tested or challenged to do great things. we see the best in some people, and the worst in some.
there are certainly still good people around.

Yin and yang, good and evil would not exist without eachother. I believe there are both as well.A person that i love very very mcuh makes me nervous, because they take everyone at face value, they never suspect wrong-doing of anyone at all, even people who have definitely been snakey to them.It's a refreshing attitude but a scary one for me as well.When i try to protect them they defend the snakey people.It's crazy.-- You're right about the media one day of tdlevision promotes 4,000+ imafes of violence.I remain, one of the good guys,lol.

I believe there is more good than evil in the world. If I didn't then what would be the point in living? Who wants to live in a world filled with nothing but evil? No one I know does. If each of us would give just a little of ourselves, like you did with the tsunami victims, then the world would be a even better place live in.

I'm attracted to respond because I should like also shout that the whole world is not all evil. God created everything in the world and He saw His creation very good. God made man upright but they have sought out many devices (Ecclesiastes 7:29).
From youth, men became evil and contrive so many things to satisfy the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and pride of life. These make so many evil. But not all are evil. There are still so many also who are good.

yes me too.. i dont believe that the whole world is evil..there is humanity and it does exist..there are good people also in this world...evil is just the meaning of absentism of good... theres nothing like evil..only god things are absent ..thats why we think its evil..

Without the bad, you’ll never witness the good. As you said terrorist attacks, natural disasters they’re ‘bad’ might fall into the category of ‘evil’ and the media all takes it up, makes an angle, makes it sound like the world is going to end when the greater story is there with the people, the ones scraping around in the dust, dirt, and the mud. The ones who can’t leave until their satisfied everybody is safe, you rarely hear their story, granted after 9-11 was over you did, but in general news stories about general events it’s the event that takes priority and the actions of genuine people last.

u are correct in saying that all the world is evil. the world is being created by the creator with a motive of just play. the universe moves as per his direction and wants . yet he does not have any wants and desire from this universe. it is needless to say that without his perission nothing is possible. what is good at one area may be bad at another area . this is also called maya of the creator. wht we look in this outer world is entirely a maya / screen which illuminat ones to such an extent where u will never think over. this world has booms and recessions ups and downs good and bad.

buddy i am from Pakistan, about wt all the globe says that they are terrorists, but i know the reality bcoz i live in here... if we just think nuetrally for a while we will find that good and bad ppl are everywhere... and i can swear that the ppl here are too good, think too positive and don't try to be unreasonable eva...

I do not know of good vs. evil per se, but I do see your point about thier being a lot of good in the world, and how the media bombards us with the negative. It's only the bad things that make the news, and its usually the bad things that people remember.
We see the world, as we are,... so, I for one, knowing that, look for good everwhere, inside and out. It's there, it's all around us. God, Love, joy, the Universal, whatever it is, it's there, just waiting to be acknowledged.

yes, I do agree with you, maybe they were able to say that's the world is evil because the majority does it for living. And the reason for everything is money, that's why in the bible it is said that money is the root of all evil, but we use money to take good spending in our daily needs. Just the same with that money is not good nor bad, but it became bad when became man's personal interest but good when taken opportunity to be in good act. As how the world seems to be, good because of the good things it has but sometimes evil for doing evil things.
