which is better e-cards or cards send by post

Which cards do youll prefer e-cards or cards send by post,handwritten cards have sentimental value they can be stored, e-cards can reach faster some are free but they lack the personal touch what are your views

I send both all the time but there is nothing like getting an actual card that someone went to the store, stood around, read through several cards, put a stamp on and put in the mailbox just for you. I also like the fact that you can keep them and display them on your mantle or dresser or desk at work. You may be able to print out an e-card but you can't display it without it looking a little tacky. But I do like both, I send my husband e-cards while he is at work for no reason just so he knows I miss him and I am thinking of him.
