The Food and Drug Administration in the USA is pushing for the sale of meat and milk from cloned farm animals. They will assure the public that these products are totally safe for human consumption. Meat and milk are already so full of dangerous hormones and antibiotics, I can't see using products from cloned animals as being an improvement. What are your thoughts on this?

clones statistics - the debate is on about the effectiveness of cloning, cost, results.
Now you can see why I wish to start a family farm. I prefer to know where my animals come from and the diet that they have gotten. Can't see how these animals can be an improvement on the shaky food chain that we now have. Seems to me that when Dolly the sheep was around she developed problems associated with old age and had to be put down. Didn't think that usually ate old animals. We will have to keep an eye on this.

I would not chance it. You already have to be careful of what you eat. I don't even touch spinach now.

I wouldn't worry about spinach. You really need to eat it because it is good for you. They have isolated the problem and identified procedures to correct it. Thanks for your response.
