I place some ornaments on Ebay. New customer zero rating, two days after Christmas receive nasty email indicating she wants her money back she did not receive item. Check my rating she gave me a negative rating. I did a tracking trace she did not receive was intransit send her a email with info. The next day she claimed she receive them damage. She said she wants her money back she will mail them back. Another email, fussing about her paying the shipping charges. Has this ever happen to anyone? How do you handle customers with no rating? How do you handle refund?

With a situation like this, please be wary. This person is pulling your chain. The buyer is a fraudster trying to jip you out of your money. Do NOT return the money unless you receive a damaged item. Did you specify a return policy? If you did, then you have to follow through. If you didn't, then the customer is screwed. Save all emails from her and report her to eBay. By saving the emails you can prove that she's lying. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your comment, I did not specify a refunds policy. I told her to send me back the ornaments. I really agree with you, she is a fraudster. I did not realize I could report her to Ebay, but I would check into doing that.

Definately report her. This happens a lot on eBay. You just have to watch out for people like her. I hope you get this issue resolved.
