Do You Think Visuals Make a Difference in Site Performance?

I love adding pics & grapics on my site I really believed asthetics make a difference but they really don't get me much response unless I talk to someone who's seen what I've done then they're like "that was neat or cool".
Any advice?

definitely yes! if we change the visula if will change the appearance of the web site lol.
