About six months ago my husband quit smoking. It was tough for him to stop after nine years, so I'm really proud of him. Problem is, since giving up cigarettes, he's become addicted to lollipops. He always has one in his mouth, while driving sitting in church, and even in bed.How do I broach this without offending him?

Has he gone to the dentist lately? If so, I'm sure that eating lollipops aren't good for your teeth. Can you recommend something healthier for him?

Lollipop's are healthier then his smoking. Try suger-free lollipop's.

Ask him if he wants to lose his teeth as a result of all the sugar from the lollipops. To break him of the habit, maybe you could get him some pops that are not of a good flavor. We had some that were from Holland that were salty and had a strong molasses taste. Yuck. That would break my from wanting a sweet.
