Do you often add or remove things from your interests? Why do you or don't you? How often do you start discussions from your interests section? Or respond to them through it?

im not very adventurous or creative..normally i only add it once and then never go back ever..hehe...that goes the same for my profile, i customised once and never go back and change colour again....but lately, i noticed that after i responded to a discussion, they will ask whether do i want to add that topic into my interest or not..which is kinda good...i will try to start a discussion from my interest.

I'm not saying too much but I think it would be beneficial for you to add to your interests section *hint hint nudge nudge* I never added one thing to my interests, but then I discovered a little thing I dont think many people know and now I am constantly typing away in my interests section, if I cant find a discussion i feel is worth responding to, which lets face it, happens quite a lot nowadays...

I just finished adding interests to my profile. I don't know but somehow many of my interests were deleted so i had to add again. But now i've added more as i looked for my interests without any hurry. See your discussion that i'm replying, its through my interest named mylot. Earlier i used to reply to discussions that were at the top of mylot but now i look for my interests and i find much more topics to my likings so i suggest that you and all reply to discussions through interests of your own and you will find topics you're lookinf foe sine day one on mylot.

Thats what I have found as well. I find it more appealing to answer discussions that are about topics that I enjoy, rather than what the majority deem popular for that particular day.

yeah, im often removing interests that are bringing up lots of uninteresting discussions because yes i do go to the discussions from my interest page alot, especialy music group interest as often there are heaps of discussions in them like which song is better. These discussions really only have one or a few word answers and its just tedious to have them coming up all the time. Tanika.

I hate all those this or that? favourite?discussion and so forth. I thought it was all good when mylot brang in the guidelines to dissuade others from starting them, but its one thing to make a rule and quite another to enforce it. Those types of discussions are still dominating the pages of this forum which sucks, because it means good and interesting discussions are quite often overlooked.

I add interests whenever I respond to a discussion and they ask me if I want to add it to my interests. When I do it's the interest that I like. I try to do so whenever I can for both responding to a topic or creating one.

Currently, I am adding on, and that is only because of the little notes I receive from MyLot. However, most of the time my posts are just based on things that sometimes I just wonder about or problems I may need a little direction with...MyLot has so much going on I really get a little distracted at times and I find staying on any one course a little difficult..SS

I add to my interest almost everyday. Each time I am on myLot, I get so many inspirations from the response i give to other. but Really, I enjoy giving response than creating discussions. It not always easy to create a sensible discussions. I hate doing that.

Its much easier to respond to a discussion than it is to create one, I agree. I think interests not only have thier own benefits, but make it much easier to find worthwhile topics to respond to on a daily basis.

I acidentaly added Saddam as the person that I admire . Loll , it was just a mistake . Your topic isn`t so atractive , but deserves to take a look on it .

I usually add new topics when I feel like getting some new topics. Itry to make discussions as often as possible (as long as I think it's a good question)

I always start discussions from my interests sections because MyLot has heavily hinted that it pays more to do so. I often go there to find discussions to reply to as well. When I want to start a discussion and it doesn't fit any of my interests, I add to my interests at that time. I also add to it when I respond to a discussion that has an interest group that I'm interested in. I've never removed anything from my interest section, although things have disappeared. I'm not sure how that has happened.

Yes I often add things to my interests. Normally when I respond to a discussion I add the particular thing to my interests if I find it interesting. Mostly I start a discussion from my interests but many a times I go to the recent discussions to post an answer.

Depends on my mood or if I notice a topic that I am interested in that I do not have on the site already. I try to keep it updated.
