What should u do if ur best friend gave u a present u hate?

I love reading,anything about finacial or money matters,but never romance.my friend gave me books (romance)for x'mas but i don't really like them and i dont wanna hurt her feelings,I'm thinking selling it on ebay,it may worth something because it's signed by the author.

I think at present you must refrain from doing this as if your friend finds that out she will be hurt. keep the books with you for sometime and later in next year you can sell them. Probably with your friends consent too. why are you in such a hurry to sell them, just wait for sometime for your friends sake as she had gone to lengths to get them signed by the author for you.
