Yes I have seen them but unfortunately only in the zoo's. I think it would be really neat to see one up close in the open though!

Yes I have, they are very gentle creatures inspite of their size. I even fed one which was at the side of the road

where we live in Ontario, they bring the circus to town and for $6.00 you and 4 or 5 other people can ride the elephant...

i am from kerela a southern state in india which is known for elephants.. even though the elephants here are slightly smaller to the african one they still are elephants and so great to watch on..

I have seen a lot of elephants as they are common in India. I even saw them many times in My city , once i saw a bridegroom was siting on a elephant.
